PLEASE CALL OUR OFFICE TO SET UP AN APPOINTMENT FOR YOUR CHILD(REN).  MORE DATES FOR FLU VACCINE WILL BE POSTED ON THIS SITE AS THEY ARE ESTABLISHED.  These appointments are meant to be very quick, to help a large number of children receive the vaccine efficiently:  please make a separate appointment if you have other concerns or needs beyond your child's flu vaccination.

Flu vaccines are highly recommended for every one of our patients who is at least 6 months old.  The previously available nasal spray ("FluMist") is not an option this year.  This year's flu vaccine appears to be a very good match for the strains of influenza headed to our area this winter.  Please protect your children, yourselves, and those most vulnerable in our community by vaccinating against influenza.

Janel Post, APN, a nurse practitioner on our team at Advocare Parsippany Pediatrics for 10 years, has been certified to provide lactation consultations to support our breastfeeding patients.

We are pleased to announce that Dr. Jennifer Lam has joined our practice in February!  Dr. Lam brings a wealth of knowledge and experience in the management of complex pediatric illnesses.  Welcome, Dr. Lam!

Advocare Parsippany Pediatrics serves families with state-of-the-art care for children from birth through young adulthood. Established in 1978, we take pride in delivering pediatric care that is prompt, attentive, and personalized to meet your family’s needs.  Our team includes four board-certified pediatricians, a pediatric nurse practitioner, and nursing and office staff all dedicated to making you and your children feel welcome and comfortable in our office.
Our comprehensive care begins in the newborn nursery and continues with ongoing checkups. During these “well visits” we monitor growth, nourishment, and physical, developmental, and emotional progress. When children are ill, same-day appointments are available so that children may be evaluated promptly.  We offer early-evening appointments three weekdays each week and keep our phones open to parents through lunchtime.    For children experiencing complex medical issues, we coordinate care with excellent specialists to manage chronic or critical conditions.  In the event that children require hospitalization, Dr. Robert Handler, Dr. Alan Koenigsberg, Dr. Daniel Kahn, and Dr. Adam Handler are all on staff at Goryeb Children’s Hospital at Morristown Medical Center, where our commitment to high quality healthcare includes patient care as well as training medical students and pediatric residents.

We appreciate your fears and understand the challenges of raising children. You may find answers to many questions about children’s health and development on our informative website, which also includes Useful Links to other valuable resources. If you need personal assistance, please contact us.

For more than three decades, it has been our privilege to be entrusted by families with their children’s well-being. Our goal is to partner with parents to provide the best possible pediatric care in the most comforting environment. We are here to heal your children whenever possible, protect them from preventable diseases and injuries, comfort them when they are in need, direct you toward resources that you may find useful, ensure that your child’s full potential is reached, and help you enjoy your role as a parent. We look forward to welcoming you to the Advocare Parsippany Pediatrics family.
