Diana Huzar, DO, FAAP

Pediatrics

Diana Huzar, D.O., FAAP, is a board-certified pediatrician specializing in the care of infants, children, and adolescents. She is bilingual, fluent in Polish and English.

Dr. Huzar earned her bachelor's degree from Rutgers University, a master's degree in biology from Seton Hall University, and her Doctor of Osteopathy degree from New York College of Osteopathic Medicine. She completed her pediatric residency training at Stony Brook University Hospital in Stony Brook, New York. Upon completion of her residency she moved to Vernon New Jersey where she joined Advocare Vernon Pediatrics and Family Care practice. While working with children in Sussex county, Dr Huzar recognized the need for improved access to mental health services. She joined the Pediatric Psychiatry Collaborative Project to help children with depression, anxiety, and ADHD receive optimal care. Her other clinical interests include child development, nutrition, obesity, eating disorders, and asthma management. 

Dr. Huzar has received multiple awards from New Jersey Magazine's "Top Doctors in New Jersey," New Jersey Family's "Favorite Kid’s Doc," The Patient’s Choice Award, Compassionate Doctor Recognition award, and is recognized regularly in the list of "Top Doctors in the New York Metro Area" in the Castle Connolly Directory.

She lives in Morristown and in her spare time, Dr. Huzar enjoys ballroom dancing, travel, and learning about new cultures.
